Founded in September 2016, by husband and wife Mick and Julie, the pair set out to change the way Chinese tours were delivered in Melbourne. After spending 6 years on a tourism working in Tasmania, Mick became a tour leader for tour operators where he gained expert experience as a tour guide. Upon returning with a new-found passion for travel, Mick saw a gap in the market of existing day chinese tour operators in Melbourne. They were confident that there was an opportunity for a high-quality, small-group day tour operator to win the market share by providing oversea chinese guests with an informative and memorable small-group touring experience.
In September 2016, Mick and Juilie launched Go Tours Austarlia. With a 7 seats toyota people mover and one single 11-seat bus and Mick as the driver-guide, they operated their first Great Ocean Road tour with a group of 5 guests.
Nowdays We moved the office from home to Tullamarine, Victoria, only about 5 mins away from airport. In the past 5 years, we work with a lots of different clients not only direct public, but also a lot of world class companies. Go Tours Australia has received numerous awards from China Travel Service as the partner company for the Day and Extended Day tours Privader in Melbourne. GO TOURS AUSTRALIA got good reputation from the direct customers and lots of Travel Agents around Austrlia. We worked supporting a lot of inbond tour group from china with an interactive experience which was affordable, safe, reliable, and unforgettable.
